Description
DCSBIOSKit is moving the office and warehouse. Orders placed during this time will be processed after 2024-09-21. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
The DCSBIOSKit DevKit is a comprehensive package designed to streamline your dcs-bios project. Say goodbye to cumbersome wiring and external power supplies; this DevKit offers a quick and efficient way to prototype and debug your code.
What’s on the board:
- Master Controller: Comes with a USB connection for seamless communication with your host PC.
- Nano Slave: Equipped with a MAX7219 LED matrix driver and 48 LEDs. A USB port is included for programming or verifying your sketch in USB mode.
- Mega Slave: Features 48 LEDs connected directly to individual ATmega2560 pins, with a USB port for hassle-free programming and sketch verification.
Key Features:
- All-in-one RS485 solution on a single PCB.
- USB connectivity for master and slave controllers.
- Versatile LED setups for both Nano and Mega Slaves.
- Designed for quick prototyping and code troubleshooting.
Important Considerations:
This DevKit is tailored for experienced users and lacks some of the standard protections and conveniences you might find in regular slave controllers:
- Limited number of slave pins are exposed to headers.
- Power source mixing, such as 12V and USB, is discouraged—except for connecting the master to a PC.
- Headers are not installed by default; you will need to source and solder the ones you intend to use, or select the “All headers installed” option at the top of the page.
- Bootloaders are not pre-installed. Soldering of ISP headers or a pogo adapter is necessary for bootloader installation, or select “Arduino Bootloaders” at the top of the page.
